Failure to Appear
Failure to appear in court may result in a warrant being issued for your arrest and additional costs may be assessed against you. If you were charged with a traffic offense, notice will be sent to the Department of Revenue for failure to appear or pay, and your driving privilege may be suspended. Out-of-state drivers are subject to suspension through the Non-Resident Violator Compact Agreement between states. A warrant may be issued for your arrest if you fail to meet any court order or agreement on the due date.
